Frequently asked questions

Why should I book with Vietnam Motor Tours?

At Vietnam Motor Tours, you’ll be guided by Lam and Giang, who brings over more then 25 years of experience and both speaks fluent English. We both know countless hidden routes through mountains, villages, and coastal roads—far beyond the usual tourist paths. Riding by motorbike gives you the freedom to experience authentic Vietnam, its people, and its culture up close, making every tour truly special.

Where do your tours start and finish?

  • 1–3 day tours begin in Nha Trang.
  • Tours longer than 3 days can start and end anywhere in Vietnam, giving you full flexibility to match your travel plans.

What kind of routes do we take?

We avoid the busy main highways whenever possible and instead follow scenic backroads, mountain passes, and village trails. These smaller roads are not only safer and more enjoyable to ride, but they also let you experience the authentic landscapes and local life of Vietnam.

Where do we sleep during our trip?

You’ll stay in comfortable 2–3 star hotels, each with a private bathroom for your convenience. For travelers who want a deeper cultural experience, we can also arrange authentic homestays, where you’ll share meals and traditions with local families.

Food and Drinks

We love sharing authentic local Vietnamese cuisine with our guests. Along the way, we’ll take you to restaurants and food spots that are both safe and delicious, so you can enjoy the real taste of Vietnam with confidence.

What will we visit?

On your tour, you’ll explore the authentic beauty of Vietnam, from its stunning landscapes to vibrant local cultures. With 54 ethnic groups, diverse traditions, and breathtaking natural scenery, Vietnam’s long and narrow shape makes it perfect for discovery by motorbike, allowing you to experience both mountains and coastline in one journey.

Is it safe to drive in Vietnam?

The routes we choose are calm, scenic, and easy to navigate, so you can ride with confidence. We avoid busy city streets and main highways as much as possible, where traffic can be hectic, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable motorbike experience.

What happens if we have a breakdown?

No worries! If a motorbike breaks down, we can repair it along the way. Vietnam has motorbike repair shops even in rural areas, so we will be back on the road quickly and safely.
